A lower set of deals for the S7 Edge an update before the S8 arrives
The set of deals for the S7 and S7 Edge seem to be getting lower and lower, yet this may be normal as the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will very soon be announced by Samsung, in a March unveiling of their latest smartphone range.
Not only this but current flagship got a spruce up with a release of the new S7 Edge light blue colour, which may give us a hint of a release of the S8 ranges colours too.
The blue looks very attractive and at the lower price point will still be of interest to new consumers looking to get their #nextgalaxy, with the likes of the Huawei P10 and the LG G6 which have just launched at the MWC 2017 event that took place in late February.
S8 unveiling to take place on March 29th, 2017
The new model is bound to be one of the most popular smartphones in 2017, with 2 different models being released and the edged screen becoming the norm.
The reduction in the older phones in recent years has seen a move for the older handsets when a new phone is released and with the S6 edge and even the S5 mini still on sale, it shows there is still a market for the older yet, previous flagship models at much lower prices and with users who don't need the latest phone and all the features that come with it, they can still own a Samsung Galaxy or even an older iPhone.
Competition for places
When a new smartphone comes out, yet after remember that the previous day the older handset was still the flagship model, so it is not as if you may have to change or want to change to the latest model.
There are lots of changes in general spec though and you could see a faster phone with better displays, bigger camera megapixels and even more convenience, like the USB-C charging port upgrade, it all comes down to what you need out of the phone and presumably how much you use it.
When can I purchase a Samsung Galaxy S8 in the UK.
The official Samsung Galaxy S8 price launch is in late March, 2017 so the physical S8 handsets on the shelf, based on previous years, will be around April 21st, 2017. So keep your eyes open, we will have all the latest contract mobile phones right here, for all brands not just the new and old Samsung phones.
Samsung have given some very small hints on their new flagships design with quick flash videos and image leaks have surfaced, until the new phones are launched it's we will not know the differences between the two new smartphones, but you will be able to take a look at our in-depth Samsung Galaxy S8 review, which will give the new features a once over and also the S8+ review will give us a list of all the differences between the 2 handsets.
