Samsung Galaxy S7 Review

Rating - 5 / 5

Its's released and out in March 2016. The design stays pretty much the same with upgrades in specifications with no removable battery as yet to try and help with battery power.

Covering the specs and main features.

Rethink what a phone can do.

Galaxy S7 Design

Pretty much out of the same design mould as it's predecessor the Galaxy S6 which was a top seller so way go all out and change what has bbeen successful when Samsung introduced a whole new revamp just a few years ago from the S5.

There is no doubt the S7 is still going to be amongst the best phones around in 2016. It's not the lightest phone either.

Samsung announced the new S7 with a better user experience in mind and this is exactly what has happened.

The polished hardwaring design which is also IP68 water-resistant not only is great for every day useage, but also the gorilla glass front and back create a superb shine which make the phone stand out and gives it a tremendous look and feel.

It's sli, but no forgetting there are slimmer smartphones on the market and the number 1 held at the time of writing is the Galaxy A3

Galaxy S7 Camera

The cameras have been a focus (mind the pun) on the new flagship, both front and reasr have seen updates to previous models that already stood out as decent camera phones.

The rear now a solid 12 megapixels with a quick lens that lets in plenty of light on the night photos enough to bring out bright quality and sharp photos.

The front brings a sharp selfie shooter with a 5 megapixel and software to change the look of your photo with the beautify mode.

Both these bring enough to compete with the iPhone 6s and the yet to be released yet an announcement would be expected in 2017 for The iPhone 7.

Galaxy S7 Processor

A powerful processing unit under the hood brings us amazing speeds so flying through the menus is an easy and quic task with no lag, opeing up several windows and multi tasking also creates a lightening fast reaction with the 4GB of ram packed inside you can have plenty going on with no reaction to the users eye.

Currently this will make the S7 the fastest out there with the same processor is the LG G5 another Android phone, yet the Samsung will be the king f sales again between the two as people fight for the top models.

With Samsung now making their own processors it maybe by the time the Galaxy S8 is produced we are treated with a huge hike in processing power to cope with more VR that we is being pushed and ready to explode and the technology on virtual reality expands.

Galaxy S7 Operating System

As normal Android is the platform used for Samsung Galaxy phones bringing much more to you everyday with thousands of apps you can personaliswe what you have on your phone.

Later in the year 2016 is expected that the new Android Nougat will be released allowing for an install of the latest software to have right there on your phone.

What's going to be new on Android Nougat

The 7th version of the mobile OS, code named N to overall it's predecessors where we have had Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow, now comes Nougat.

With the crazy names comes a crazyily good mobile operating system, that is clean and fast and with every update brings more features to enhance our everyday usage.

Check out all the new features and what devices can be updated upon release on the Android website. Recently we have seen Google announce their own branded Google Pixel phone that was the first to show off the OS with 2 varients in the form of the XL version too of course hold a bigger display.

Overview

It becomes a bit boring now with the hype and what we will see infront of us is generally the same designs, but the enhanced powerful performances and of course the introduction of VR are things we all are spoiled with, maybe we will have to wait for the Galaxy S8 release for a design upgrade.
