What Is 4G?
The 4 stands for 4th and the G stands for Generation.
2G was made available in the 1990s with the ability to have digital technology on your mobile phone. Yet 2G only really allowed texts and digital calls.
3G then arrived in 2003, 3G bought a new type of network and a modern technology that could not allow normal calls and texts but the ability to browse the web.
4G then enhanced the 3G network technology and bought us the same features but at much faster speeds, internet browsing and data downloads just got a lot faster.
5G mobile phones are expected in around 2020 in the UK and will enhance upon even 4G standards and bring a network that could even be faster than your home broadband
What are the next flagship phones that are 4G compatible?
The MWC in 2017 will bring many new smartphones to the market, generally most mobile phones now are 4G compatible.
There are several key players in the industry that will launch their flagship models at this time.
Lg will see a new Android smartphone announced with the LG G5 from last year getting a makeover to bring you the latest in the series which will see G4 and G5 customers scrambling for the best LG G6 price in the UK.
Sony Xperia Z6
The launch of the Xperia Z5 saw three models take their chances, with Z5, Z5 comapct and Z5 premium, will we see the same again? Of course the natural progression is the launch of the Sony Xperia Z6, taking the front stage on Sony's stand.
Huawei seem to being make great strides in the UK, with popular low to mid-range models taking the new name of Honor. The flagship models still keep the manufacturers name and the new one in the pack after last years P9 will no doubt be the Huawei P10 release in the UK, where some great new features will be waiting to be shown.
HTC have just announced a few mid-high range smartphones, the U Ultra and U play, yet a new flagship model could jump up at the MWC. Last year saw the surprise change onf name from the One M9 to a straight forward HTC 10, so in 2017 the manufacturer will release a new flagship and you will then be able to compare HTC 11 price on pay monthly, when they arrive in shop in April.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus
Not one for the MWC but Samsung need no introduction and their new Galaxy S8 will have an edged screen, the one which expected to take the most wows is the new bigger brother, that looks set for a name change, all this can only come at a cost though, so how much is the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus on contract? will be the question.
iPhone 7s and 7s Plus
Quick 2017 will see a new iPhone, no shock their the new iPhone 7s will probably see minor changes compared to the iPhone 7.
Ealier new from Apple saw the slight shock of the 7 Plus out selling the standard so will this be the case for the new iPhone 7s when it arrives.
